How do I enter a competition? Browse competitions on the homepage or Competitions page, choose how many tickets you want, answer the skill question, and complete checkout. Your tickets are instantly confirmed by email.
How do I know if this is real? OctoComps Ltd is a registered, family-run UK company built around fair, transparent competitions. You can check us out on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and Trustpilot, where you will find content from the OctoComps community, live draws and customer reviews.
Is there a free entry option? Yes. See our Free Entry page for full details on how to enter without purchase.
How old do I have to be? You must be 18 or over to enter any OctoComps competition. Age verification is required at registration.
How is the winner chosen? Live draws are completed using an independent, verifiable random number generator/selector on Facebook Live every Thursday evening.
Do I need Facebook to take part? No. Facebook is not required to enter or win. All ticket purchases are made on this website. Live draws are streamed on Facebook and Instagram for transparency, but winners are also notified by email and text message.
What happens if you don’t sell all the tickets? Every prize is guaranteed. Draw dates can vary, but the prize will always be drawn and a winner selected.
How many tickets can I buy? Each competition has its own maximum ticket limit per person to keep things fair. We normally allow each person to buy up to approximately 10% of the available tickets for a competition.
What happens if I win? We’ll contact you by email and phone within 24 hours of the draw. You’ll have 14 days to claim your prize. Most prizes offer a cash alternative — the value is shown on each competition page.
Do I have to pose for a winner’s photo? We love sharing winner stories on our website and social media, and we really appreciate winners taking a photo with our winner’s logo so the community can see that OctoComps is trustworthy and transparent. We will never publish your full name — only your OctoComps username alongside the photo.
Do you do free draws? Yes. We run free competitions for credit, tech, cash and more, and these are dropped in randomly. Keep an eye on our social media and the Get Tickets page. You can also earn free tickets through our Referral Programme.
Where can I find my ticket numbers? Your ticket numbers are emailed to you after purchase and are also visible in My Tickets inside your account. They are also shown on the live and past entry list pages under competition info.
What payment methods do you accept? We accept all major debit and credit cards through our secure payment platform. We also accept Apple Pay and Google Pay.
What is the OctoComps Wallet? Your wallet holds cashback earned on ticket purchases. Wallet credit can be used to enter future competitions. It cannot be withdrawn as cash.
How does cashback work? A percentage of every purchase is automatically added to your wallet as credit. The current cashback rate is shown at checkout.
Can I get a refund? Tickets are non-refundable once entered into a draw. If a competition is cancelled by OctoComps, all tickets will be refunded in full.
What is the charity pot? A small percentage of every ticket sold is donated to our charity partner. The running total is displayed on the homepage.
How do I set a spend limit? Log in → My Account → Stay in Control → Spend Limits. You can set a weekly or monthly cap. Limits take effect immediately. Increases take 24 hours to apply.
How do I take a break or self-exclude? Log in → My Account → Stay in Control. You can take a short time-out or request a longer self-exclusion. For national self-exclusion visit GAMSTOP at gamstop.co.uk.
