FREE ENTRY ROUTE

You do not need to buy anything to enter an OctoComps competition. Under UK law, every competition must offer a free alternative method of entry — and we're happy to provide one.

Free postal entries have exactly the same chance of winning as paid ticket entries. Every entry goes into the same draw.

WRITE YOUR DETAILS

On a plain piece of paper, clearly write:

  • Your full name
  • Your email address
  • Your date of birth
  • The exact name of the competition you wish to enter

Place your details in a stamped envelope and send it to:

One envelope = one free entry. If you wish to enter multiple competitions, include a separate piece of paper for each one in the same envelope, or send separate envelopes.

WE ADD YOUR ENTRY

Our team checks postal entries every working day. Your entry will be added to the draw within 2 working days of us receiving it. You will not receive a confirmation email for postal entries, but your entry will be included.

WAIT FOR THE DRAW

Your entry joins the same draw as all paid entries. The draw takes place on the guaranteed date shown on the competition page. If you win, we will contact you using the email address you provided.

Important Notes

  • ✓ You must be 18 or over to enter. Any entry from a person under 18 will be disqualified.
  • ✓ Entries are open to UK residents only.
  • ✓ Maximum of one free entry per person, per competition.
  • ✓ Your entry must be received before the competition closing date. Allow sufficient postal time.
  • ✓ We cannot accept responsibility for entries lost, delayed, or damaged in the post.
  • ✓ Incomplete entries (missing name, email, date of birth, or competition name) will be disqualified.
  • ✓ By entering, you agree to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
